Damia @ almost 4 months old

Our lil bundle of joy has come to almost 4 months now.So far, these are what she has been up to;-

-She likes to play with daddy, she finds that anything daddy does is funny. Once, she actually laughed hard when daddy made faces. So cute..

-Smile or squeals when we sing ABC to her, or any type of songs especially with daddy.

-Started to wake up in the wee hours of morning to play..and doesn't like to lie down, prefers to be held..or she'll throw a tantrum.Pandai yeerr

-Doesn't quite like tummy time, she can last for briefly 2 mins or so and then started to scream.Haha

-Meniarap, tries very hard but can only go through half way.Nevermind dear, keep trying, mummy and daddy will support you!

-Starting to watch tv.We let her watch cartoons,we'll put her in her cute bumbo seat and that seems to keep her occupied for at least half an hour

-When she nurses in the morning, she has a way of looking at me that melts my heart! Like a loving kinda way and sweet , as if she knows i'm her mother ( she does right?? ).Love every moment!

-Loves to sleep in her spring cot during the day but didnt mind sleeping on the bed at night. Macam-macam la kerenah.

-Easily distracted during breastfeeding session, anything that picks up her interest, be it the slightest noise, she turned away to look at it and then continues to breastfeed.Kinda funny when she does that.

-She begins to learn to take a grip on things, especially our fingers. Also an expert on taking off her right hand's mitten nowadays.Clever gal!

-Overall, she is a happy little darling but has quite a temper if one doesn't attend to her needs quickly. Remember everything has to be quick or she'll get mad.haha.Happy 4 months old my dear Damia!

Baby Mia & Our Trip to Langkawi

Oh my, isn't rusty in here. How time flies, our lil' damia is almost 3 months now. It felt like just weeks ago when i first laid eyes on her. I didn't manage to find time to write on that, however i do cherish every moment of the labour process. I'll come to that later as still need to get some facts right since there are times i was on meds, i was less attentive of the time and stuff.

Just had her 2 months old vaccination last 2 weeks before our langkawi trip. The doctor advised that we gave her the fever meds as infants are very likely to catch fever after that. Alhamdulillah, we gave her once only as she didn't show any signs of fever all day. She is strong girl, cried just a little after that jab. I immediately breastfed her and she was calm again. I guess, breastfeeding is good thing too as it said to boost your baby's immune system. I have read somewhere that taking 2 pills of vitamin C (500 mg each) before her injection also can prevent a baby from getting fever, not sure if there is any truth in that, maybe it helped too.She weighs about 52kg, didn't take her her height though, she must be more 60cm tall now, she does look tall, hopefully taller than mummy later.Hehe

I noticed that baby mia smiles a lot these days, she response to people by squealing or babbling. She makes a lot of funny noises, i guess she just dicovered that she can 'talk' and is testing her vocal cords now.She especially likes it when daddy sings ABC song to her! She sleeps well at night and only wakes up to feed. No more colic at this stage. However i still have to watch what i eat everyday, if i take too much chocolates or drinks milo, mia tends to having less sleep at night.

I did mention that we just came back from Langkawi right? This is the first time my hubby, myself and lil damia along with my family took a long roadtrip to the north. Lil mia was a little restless on the way there maybe due to the fact that we had to start the journey at almost 1 am. We were kinda messing with her sleeping time so she's a little cranky. For me, she has been an angel, not too difficult to handle except when she was hungry or trying to sleep. She slept all the time though on our way back home, probably too tired already. I'm thankful that my mom came along too, especially when me and hubby had to go for a quick run to get ourselves some kitchen stuffs as you probably already aware, are very cheap here in Langkawi. Not forgetting the chocolates too! I think we bought a year worth of chocolates! *wink*.

Ok pictures later as i'm updating this blog from office :p

BBQ @ Seri Bulan Apartment, PD

My in-laws organized a bbq session in PD last weekend along with makcik Salina's and Abg Dee's family. We started off on Saturday with makcik Salina's family from Shah Alam. Will meet Abg Dee's family in PD. From Shah Alam around 12.30 PM, we arrived in PD almost 4 PM due to heavy traffic. Actually, there's more to it than just heavy traffic, i'll just leave it to my hubby if he wants to elaborate more, ahaha.

We stayed at Seri Bulan Condo in Teluk Kemang for RM 250 per night.

BBQ session started after dusk.It was fantastic, we had grilled meat, chicken tandoori, kebab, lemongrass chicken (super nice!), salads, macaroni but sadly i missed the grilled mutton, i'm already too full by then.

Yucks!

Now, this entry is going to be a little unpleasant for most people but its good to know, though i had some doubts on it. Yesterday my colleague forwarded an interesting mail about using expired sanitary pads. I didn't even know they have expiry date.Ah alas, i'm not able to access into my office emails, i thought of posting the whole thing here.Well the story briefly goes like this - There was this chinese man who lived with his wife and 17 yr old daughter. The father makes a living by selling sanitary pads, so after a while there were many expired stocks of sanitary pads around so being deprived as they were, all the pads were given to the wife and daughter. The daughter started having nausea and vomitted for few months, so the father decided to take his daughter to the hospital. The doctor announced that she was pregnant. Not carrying human baby but mice!

Obviously the doctor had to operate and remove those infants. I downloaded the attached picture earlier so i still can paste them here.

How can the eggs be fertilized when you are having your menstruation?Quite absurd really but i'm no expert on this topic either, so I'll just leave this to the experts.

On another note, looking forward to meeting my fiancee today!Yeay!

Wedding Frenzy

Aha this is my first entry to the blogging world, and I'm going to start to pour my heart out already.... :p

I have been asked to prepare a video slide show months prior to the wedding. Now its less than 3 weeks before my wedding and i have yet to decide what theme, which picture, or even what tool to use to create this video!~

Its just so exasperating to think of what to do, to plan just to be able to please other people, aha well in this context its for my wedding. i'd like it simple but full of love and laughter, smiles from family n frens.Im not gonna tell u why i feel this way, maybe not now..

I feel that blogging may release all the tense but then i just dont know what to write here. While i'm at this, i'd tell my fiancee-cum-futureHubby that i dont know how to write and i sometimes feel amazed at how people can write and express so well in few words..Well let's see how it goes from here..

OK enough for now, just a little introduction (if u even call this introduction) to my new favourite pastime..Ahaks!
